IIM, Indore, students were in for a though-provoking address by founder of PT Universe Sandeep Manudhane recently. The session was intended to help students stay abreast with the current happenings such as effect of AAP on national politics and upcoming elections, food security bill and its implications, effect of Devyani case on Indo-US relations, RBI new policies and economy overview and future outlook viz-a-viz India and the world.

Addressing a session 'Current political and economic affairs' organized by the entrepreneurship cell of the institute, he said, "The best method of analyzing any issue is to grasp the important and relevant data to create a suitable framework for interpretation and evaluation of the data and then reaching a logical stand. He also urged the students to develop a habit of reading from various sources and across various domains to create their holistic and unbiased views towards the global happenings."

Around 250 PGP and IPM students and faculty members were present during the session. One of the participants Mohit Sahni said the initiative by the cell was a successful one as it helped everyone present in updating themselves with the current happenings and in creating a fresh outlook towards several fields.
